About Wookey Hole Cricket Club
Located on the grounds of the stately Glencot Manor House, the ground is considered to be arguably one of the most picturesque
in the Southwest. The ground is surrounded by tall trees on three sides and on the fourth the River Axe along with the Glencot
Manor House. The square consists of 8 cricket pitches and is maintained by volunteer ground staff with the estate managed by a formally trained member of the Institute of Groundsman-ship. Current plans include in the short term, the upgrading of the pavilion to increase the comfort of both players as well as spectators.
All players and visitors are welcome to walk around the cricket pitch must not visit the main house and gardens as this is a private residence. Thank you.
